Edit your company profile
Your company's name, address, contact details and logo.
Who can do this: Company admins. Everyone else can view the company profile but can't change it.
Your company profile holds your company's name, state license, contact details, shop address and logo. BidUnity prints these details on the documents your clients and vendors see.
To open it, go to Settings and click Company profile. The page is called My company profile.
Edit your company details
- On My company profile, click Edit.
- In Edit company profile, update any of these:
- Company name (required)
- State license
- Website
- Under Shop address, pick the Country first: United States or Canada. Then enter Address line 1, Address line 2, City, County, State and Zip. For Canada, State becomes Province and Zip becomes Postal code. The address is optional, but if you fill in any part of it, you must fill in Address line 1, City, State (or Province) and Zip (or Postal code).
- Click Save changes.
If you haven't added a shop address yet, company admins see a Missing shop address message at the top of the page.
Add or change your logo
- On My company profile, click Upload logo. If you already have a logo, the button says Change logo.
- In Update company logo, drag an image onto the box, or click Choose image. Use a PNG, JPG, GIF or WEBP file up to 5 MB.
- Click Save logo.
To take the logo off, open the same window, click Remove logo, then click Save logo.
What happens next
- Your logo, company name, license, shop address, website and email appear on the online proposal page your client sees. See Send a proposal.
- Your shop address also appears on change orders (agreed changes to a contract's scope, price or schedule), printed applications for payment (your bills for the work done so far) and the quote requests you send to vendors. Your shop's state and county also fill the notary section of printed applications for payment.
- Your company name, shop address and state license can fill placeholders in your terms and conditions. See Write terms and conditions.
