Manage seller vendor parts
Publish your company's parts and prices to other companies.
If BidUnity has linked your company to its own vendor in the catalog, you manage that vendor's parts, product groups and prices in seller mode. What you add there is shared, so other companies can price and buy your parts.
Open your seller parts
- Click Catalog, then Seller vendor parts.
Your vendor's Parts tab opens. A Seller mode note at the top says "Parts and prices created here will be available to other companies for purchase." The note also shows on your parts' pages.
Add a part
- On your vendor's Parts tab, click Create new part.
- Fill in the part as described in Add parts and finish prices. In seller mode there is no Visibility choice, because the part is shared.
- Click Create part.
What happens next
The part is added to the shared catalog under your vendor. Add finish prices to it so other companies can price it.
Add or change a price
- Open the part from your vendor's Parts tab.
- In the Prices table, click Add a price, or click Change on a price's row.
- Enter the price details and click Save finish price.
In seller mode, Change edits the shared price itself, not a custom price for your company.
Edit a part
- Open the part from your vendor's Parts tab.
- Click Edit part.
- Make your changes and click Save part.
Add a product group
- Open your vendor's Product groups tab.
- Click Create new product group.
- Choose the Visibility and enter the Product group name.
- Click Create product group.
The new product group is shared under your vendor.
What happens next
Other companies see your parts, product groups and prices in their catalog when your vendor is one of their selected vendors. See Choose vendors and set multipliers.
