Find a project

Search, filter and sort the project list.

Who can do this: Everyone. Field/shop workers see only the projects they are scheduled for in the calendar.

The Projects page lists your company's projects. It opens on Open projects, newest first.

Search for a project

  1. Click Projects in the top menu.
  2. Type at least two characters in the search box. You can type part of a project name or a proposal number.
  3. Click the project name to open the project.

How search works:

  • Type the start of any word in the project name. For more than one word, type them in a row as they appear in the name, or type whole words in any order. Capital letters don't matter.
  • Proposal numbers must match exactly. When a proposal matches, its number and name show under its project. Click it to open the proposal.
  • Search looks only inside the current filter. To find a closed project, switch the filter to Closed projects or All projects first.
  • Search shows up to 100 projects. If you see "Showing the top 100 matching projects", type more of the name to narrow the list.
  • To clear the search, click the X at the end of the search box.

Filter the list

  1. Click the filter button next to the search box. It shows the current filter, for example Open projects.
  2. Under Projects, pick one:
    • Open projects: every project that is not closed.
    • Active projects: open projects that are past the pricing stage, so not Request for Pricing.
    • Closed projects: projects that have been closed.
    • All projects: every project.
  3. To see only projects you created, tick Only my projects.
  4. To see projects someone else created, point to Created by and pick a team member. To go back to everyone, pick Any team member.

When you filter by another person, a Filtering by checkbox with their name shows in the menu. Untick it to clear that filter.

For what each status means, see Project statuses.

Sort the list

Click a column heading to sort by it: Project, Status, Created by or Created date. Click it again to reverse the order.

On a phone, use the sort button instead. Pick a field under Sort by, then Ascending or Descending under Direction. Use Previous and Next to move between pages.

What happens next

  • Clicking a project opens it on its Proposals tab. See Get around a project.
  • If nothing matches, the list shows "No projects found." Try another filter or a shorter search.
